Shelf Stable.....

The Meals on Wheels Shelf Stable Meals program assures that no one will be without food when conditions make it unsafe for our drivers to deliver meals.  We ask that local groups coordinate to prepare meal packages and deliver them to the Center to be distributed to our recipients.  Meal packages are packed in individual gallon size Zip-lock bags and contain:

                    •  Ready to eat canned soup (not ones that need water added)

                    •  Nutri-grain bar or Granola bar

                    •  Canned or boxed juice (no grapefruit)

                    •  Individual boxes of raisins

                    •  Individual containers of fruit
