How you can help - Donations to Meals on Wheels - Online or by Mail.....
Operation of the agency relies on
donations received from the community. Because of our frugal operation,
Meals on Wheels prepares and delivers meals at a cost of $2.94 per meal.
That figure includes food, salaries, utilities – all costs associated with
getting a meal out.
The program receives no federal or state funds; therefore, Meals on Wheels
depends on the generosity of the community for its survival. Ours is truly a
program of “neighbors helping neighbors.”
When considering your donation this is what it costs to feed one recipient…

Additional weekend meals, sent to those with no local family, cost $300 for one recipient each year.

Honorariums/Memorials: we send an acknowledgment card in recognition of
your donation either to the individual being honored or to the family of the
deceased. Please provide a mailing address for the acknowledgment.
