The purpose of Meals on Wheels - Anderson is to deliver nutritious meals to individuals in need and to build community awareness and support to meet that need.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

 Meals on Wheels-Anderson serves nearly 600 homebound, elderly and disabled residents of Anderson County every weekday. In addition to the food we provide, we also have more than 450 volunteers that offer compassion, care and gestures of friendships to our program recipients. We receive no state or federal funding, so it truly is a program of “neighbors helping neighbors,” and we are so glad that YOU are our “neighbor!”
